**National Practice Consultant**
- Permanent Full-Time position
- Child & Family Services
- Hybrid model - 2-3 days in the office
- Can be based at any of our National Offices
- $120K + 15K motor vehicle allowance

This role will be responsible for embedding practice, mentoring and coaching our operations teams by holding consultations and reviews.

**The role**
- Support service and practice reviews as well as continuous quality improvement/assurance activities arising from reviews.
- Provide consistency and assurance of internal and external reporting, recording and resolution across national child and family services and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and standards of care to ensure safety and wellbeing for all children and young people we support.
- Support connection, collaboration, and communication both internally and externally.
- Support the embedding of organisational practice frameworks, therapeutic practices and consistent measures that align with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and embedding of practice excellence models, procedures, practice guidance and processes.
- Proactively identify and respond to critical incident trends and complex support needs of children and young people or services.

**About you**
- A relevant degree or accreditation based on competency and experience (post-graduate desirable).
- Knowledge of service delivery models and contemporary regulatory reform in Child and Family Services.
- Experience leading Child and Family operations and/or assurance including the establishment and delivery of relevant, evidence-based programs and models.
- Leadership and management experience
- Demonstrated experience in improving outcomes for young people while working to meet government, community, and family expectations.
- The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and to work collaboratively with government agencies and peak bodies.
- Experience in developing teams through coaching, mentoring, goal setting and project management.
- Ability to travel regionally or interstate.
