**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, key responsibilities include the following:

- Manage plant shutdowns, start ups & maintenance interventions for major facility.
- Actively liaise with contractor/service providers to ensure all equipment is operational and compliant.
- Troubleshoot & resolve problems with Engineering. Facilitate maintenance and reliability improvements
- Provide maintenance & engineering solutions to improve plant & equipment availability & reliability.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in plant efficiency, reliability and performance.
- Effectively liaise with all internal stakeholders such as technicians, manufacturing staff & plant operations.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical & Industrial & Manufacturing)
- Sound experience in maintenance engineering including plant shutdowns.
- A minimum of five to seven years of industry experience in maintenance leading teams.
- Specific industry experience in Pharmaceutical, food, FMCG ore related industry with an understanding of GMP & regulatory requirements.
- Strong planning & coordination skills.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
