**Position Information**:
Condell Park High School, located in South Western Sydney, has an enrolment of 920 students and is a comprehensive, coeducational school with a Support Unit Autism. It has diverse needs with 96% LBOTE and increasing numbers of International students. Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria,

Proven capacity to work collaboratively and successfully with the school executive to lead, manage and implement systems, processes and initiatives that address whole school strategic priorities.

Capacity to work collaboratively, liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders to support students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to drive improved academic and social -emotional outcomes.

Proven capacity to deliver high quality educational experiences for students in creative and performing arts through the leadership of whole school programs and events.

Demonstrated excellence in classroom practice with the capacity to lead, plan and model the implementation of high quality, evidence based, student centred differentiated teaching and learning programs resulting in successful HSC CAPA outcomes.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice

2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs

3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams

4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents

5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning

6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies
