**Position Information**:
Liverpool Girls High School is a comprehensive girls' high school with an enrolment of approximately 710 students serving a diverse area of South West Sydney. The school is proud of its multicultural background with over 89% of students coming from a language background other than English.

Proven educational leadership to support and mentor staff in the development of a range of teaching experiences and innovative pedagogical practice in the Creative and Performing Arts KLA

Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills that promote high expectations and encourage evaluative, data informed, high-quality teaching and learning in the CAPA faculty.

Ability to lead teachers in developing and implementing high quality programs that are engaging and differentiated to meet the needs of all learners including High Potential and Gifted and EALD.

Capacity to work as a collaborative executive member with shared responsibility for leading whole school improvement processes that align with the school’s strategic directions and build relationships in the wider community.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice

2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs

3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams

4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents

5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning

6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies
