As a Coordinator (Residential Property), you will provide accurate and timely advice in connection with the management of tenancy issues in respect of the department's residential leasing portfolio.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Coordinating activities in the residential property team and provide advice to senior management in relation to the management of the department's residential leasing portfolio.
- Providing advice and direction to the Property Leasing and Property Maintenance Officers in managing the leasing and maintenance of the department's Brisbane based property portfolios.
- Undertaking management of tenancy issues including:

- Dealing with challenging tenants in a range of tenancy matters, including case managing difficult tenant negotiations
- Negotiating with tenants to put payment plans in place for payment of rental arrears and monitoring to ensure plans are adhered to.
- Ensuring that all actions are taken in accordance with the requirements under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008

Requirements of the role
- Ability to ensure works tasks are delegated equally amongst team members on a daily basis and internal processes and policies are being followed.
- Ability to research and contribute to the development of innovative policies, procedures and systems that support and improve the efficiency and administration of the residential property management function.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes and safety standards that impact the property management function particularly with regard to rental properties.
