**Interior Designer** - Insitu Construction Group

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Researching and analysing spatial, functional, efficiency, safety and aesthetic requirements.

Preparing sketches, diagrams, illustrations and plans to communicate design concepts.

Work closely with clients, architects, builders, and other stakeholders.

Work closely with a team of designers, engineers, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals to ensure a seamless implementation of designs.

Offer design suggestions to clients, providing tailored solutions to maximize space and align with their lifestyle and needs within project constraints.

Oversee interior design projects to achieve client requirements under strict deadlines and ensure compliance with building codes and sustainability standards.

Inspect construction to ensure adherence to requirements and compliance with codes and standards.

Develop sound interior design practices to advance Insitu’s efforts.

Detailing and documenting selected design for construction.

Create design, style and mood concepts that fit with architectural plans, select colour schemes, source furniture and fixtures, and ensure all work fits within the client’s budget.

Boosts Insitu’s reputation through strong client relationships.
- Have relevant degree,
- Have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar Interior Designer role (construction or interior design industry preferred).
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Enscape.
- Are creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and compliance standards.
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALARY: Competitive + Super (Advise $90000)
