**Job Overview**:
An Associate Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) while also providing technical leadership and guidance to a team. This role involves translating business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architectures, and mentoring other team members. They play a crucial part in cloud strategy, migration, and ongoing optimization of cloud-based systems.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Worked primarily as a Cloud operations technical Lead\techno Manager and secondarily as AWS Solutions Architect. Have very good understanding of AWS Cloud environment and different services provided by the AWS.
- Worked on Amazon Web Services (AWS Control Tower, AWS Service Catalogue, AWS Account factory, Guardrails, AWS Organization, Direct Connect, Virtual Interfaces, Direct Connect Gateway, Transit gateway, RAM, VPC, Transit gateway attachment creation, Transit gateway routing, EC2, ELB\ALB\NLB, VPC, IPAM, AWS Application Migration Service, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, RedShift, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS (Oracle, Postgres, MS SQL, Aurora), Workspaces, Directory service CloudWatch, SSM, SQS, SFTP, SSO etc.)
- HLD and LLD creation of the AWS environment for new projects.
**Skills and Knowledge**:
- AWS landing zone implementation with Control tower.
- Setting up Network connectivity between AWS-to-AWS accounts and AWS to Datacenter with AWS Direct Connect.
- Upgrading DX connectivity link.
- Migrating different resources from AWS-to-AWS and Datacenter to AWS accounts with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN)
- Backup configuration for different AWS accounts
- Centralized patching solution with SSM for all AWS accounts
- Centralized CloudWatch dashboard for all AWS accounts in organization
- Supporting multiple tasks\issues related to EC2, S3, RDS, Load balancer, Route53, SSM, restoration, patching, performance issues and other AWS operations support tasks.
- Creating and managing Golden AMI with Image Builder. Sharing AMI across organization with EC2 image Builder distribution settings.
- Automated all security agent installation in in Golden AMI process
- Have setup Centralized FinOps Dashboard for the AWS organization to manage AWS cost.
- CloudFormation template creation for creating different resources (e.g., S3, EC2, Security Groups, RDS, VPC)
- Creating CloudFormation for creating complete ECS cluster environment, database and EC2
**Must Have**:
- Created multiple solutions for streamlining deployments
- Governance
- Monitoring
- Optimizing operating cost on AWS cloud
- Formulating and documenting different solutions as per business requirement.
- Have a good experience in AWS operations support and Cloud Migration exposure.
