We are looking for a **Software** **Engineering Manager** to join our team and help shape the future of AI-powered video creation. You’ll be supporting software engineers and applied scientists in designing and building product solutions based on cutting-edge large language models and generative AI models. From automating video editing tasks to enabling entirely new forms of storytelling, your team will help enable the next generation of intelligent, user-friendly video tools.
- You’ll join a nimble, cross-disciplinary team embedded within Microsoft, working alongside engineers, applied scientists, data scientists, product managers and designers to deliver innovative solutions. **Qualifications**:
**Required Qualifications**:
- 4+ years of people management and 3+ years of engineering experience.- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline.- Strong servant leadership skills and passion for supporting and developing people, with proven experience recruiting, hiring, coaching and defining growth paths for engineering teams.- Great communication with the ability to consider others’ ideas, implement new methods, surface and resolve disagreements and empathize with users without breaking a sweat.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in software development in enterprise or high-compliance fields.
- Experience with cross-functional product teams.
- ** Microsoft Cloud Background Check**: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
