**Job Description**:
Brisbane Times is seeking a Designer/Graphic Artist to be a part of Brisbane’s leading digital newsroom as it expands to tell the stories of Australia’s fastest growing and most dynamic region.

Day to day, you will:

- Create artwork to illustrate stories, including vector and photo illustrations;
- Present data in a way that is engaging, easily absorbed and accurately portrayed;
- Execute a range of projects simultaneously across digital platforms, including website and social media accounts;
- Adhere to brand guidelines and editorial deadlines.

Help us showcase the best of Brisbane and explore the opportunities and challenges for our city as it builds toward the 2032 Olympics

**Qualifications**:
What we would like to see on your resume:

- Previous experience in design / graphic art
- Skilled at using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Figma (or Sketch).
- Datawrapper and Flourish skills
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS, JavaScript, Adobe After Effects, 3D software and Google suite would be an advantage.
