**Role Overview**

Our client is one of the few Australian employed owned engineering firms that has a national footprint and unique value proposition. You will be joining the New South Wales office with an energetic and focused leadership team, along with a great approach to collaboration across the business.

The Design Manager - Civil and Infrastructure will be playing a key role in delivering a diverse range of engineering design projects for state government and contractors delivering infrastructure projects for the urban and regional communities of NSW. Project fee values will typically range from circa $250k to $2m.

**Skills and experience Required**
- Demonstrated experience managing design projects on time, on-budget, and to a high standard
- A civil engineering or similar technical discipline background but be focused and motivated to work on multi-disciplinary projects
- Awareness and appreciation of the local and national standards relating to complex infrastructure projects
- An open and team-focused approach to delivery, working collaboratively
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills for internal and external
- Ability to lead a bid process, drawing on the wider team to strengthen it and maximise the chance of success
