This is a permanent full-time position. We are looking for someone with a positive mindset, a genuine love for working with children and families, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth. - **What You’ll Be Doing** - Supporting the Kinder Teacher to implement engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that support the holistic development of children - Fostering a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages children's creativity, curiosity, and self-expression - Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to plan and adapt activities to meet their individual needs - Collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each child's learning and wellbeing - Maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations - Participating in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge - **What We Offer** - Above award salary - Monthly RDOs -4 weeks annual leave - Paid professional development opportunities - Paid First Aid training - Allocated planning time - Paid monthly staff meetings - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential support - Discounted childcare fees **Qualifications** **To be considered for this role, you will need**: - A Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent) - A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) - Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training - A current Mandatory Reporting Certificate - At least two-year experience working with kinder age group - A solid understanding of early childhood theories, the VEYLDF, EYLF, and NQS - A solid understanding of planning cycle - Commitment to the Child Safe Standards - Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences - Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills - Sound written and verbal English language skills - We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators, people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and people with disabilities to apply.
