How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Principal, Commercial Advisory, you’ll work with growing a team of highly skilled specialists. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. You’ll drive value, connect assets to strategy and proactively respond to disruptive change.

Here are the key things you’ll do:
- You will assume a leadership role in the practice and will proactively lead the strategic planning, design and implementation of complex solutions for your client portfolio to deliver tangible, long-lasting outcomes.- You will provide strategic, commercial and financial advice to your client portfolio from mobilisation through to delivery.- You will create new revenue growth in programs and sustaining capital by forging collaborative relationships (JVs, alliances, etc.) with contractors and consultants.- You will drive initiatives to strengthen and grow Commercial Advisory’s presence across core business lines including infrastructure, transport, water and social infrastructure.- Reporting to the Managing Principal, Commercial Advisory, you will be responsible for the performance and growth of a team of 8+ direct reports.- You will coach and mentor colleagues to support growth and team development. This will be done by conducting performance reviews, by providing performance feedback and training, and by acting as a role model to junior team members.- You will drive strategic relationships, both internally and externally, and will be recognised as an expert in a chosen area.- You will bring together knowledge from across our business, and ensure that the necessary structures, frameworks, and processes are in place to leverage and deploy your team’s capabilities across client engagements, whilst building a culture of continuous improvement.- You will proactively seek out and present opportunities to innovate how we deliver services that continue to articulate Aurecon’s competitive advantage.

Alongside your industry experience, you’ll also have:
- A strong alignment with the Aurecon Attributes, particularly - commercial thinking, fearless, resourceful and a sense maker- A minimum 10 years’ experience in management consulting, engineering consulting or equivalent roles with a proven track record of owning, leading, and delivering complex client portfolios. Preferably, you are based in NSW or VIC to manage our national team.- Experience working in and navigating a matrixed organisation and can manage complex strategic contracts across both public
