Join our dedicated team as a **Maintenance Assistant** **As our next Maintenance Assistant, you will**: - Assist the maintenance team with all day-to-day maintenance duties as assigned by the building manager, supervisor or administrator. - Deliver completed maintenance services to required standards of compliance within expected time frames - Have a good understanding of guest needs and service expectations, in relation to guestroom maintenance and measured by customer satisfaction. - Assist in troubleshooting issues with HVAC systems, lighting and building elements as necessary - Happy to "patch and paint" - Always follow agreed safe work practices. - Undergo regular training as required in line with requirements of role - Work effectively with all teams and associates to ensure consistency, efficiency, professionalism and effective communication **What we are looking for**: - General maintenance experience within hotels would be an advantage - Trade qualification desirable but not essential - Willingness to work day and late afternoon shifts, including weekends - Ability to work well under mínimal supervision - Capacity to take direction, reliable with a strong work ethic. - Strong attention to detail - Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 15 kg as necessary **Why work for Accor?** With over 400 hotels in Australia and New Zealand, and over 5000 globally, Accor offers limitless opportunities to grow your career within a supportive network of likeminded professionals.
