The mine site and facilities

Join a profitable mining operation in N.QLD that will offer long term job security on a continuous crew that you'll get to know well.
- FIFO to and from Mt Isa and take a bus trip to the mine site
- Well equipped camp with a good standard of food
- Camp in close proximity to the site

The duties and team

Reporting into the electrical supervisor on site, you will enjoy working in a close knit of electricians and be responsible for help with the maintenance of:

- Maintenance and installs on fans, pumps, vents
- Jumbo box installs
- Drill rig servicing
- 1000v reticulation
- Leaky feeder comms maintenance
- General site electrical inc lighting and power

Roster & flights
- 2:2 roster - 7 days, 7 nights, 14 off
- Fly to site late Tuesday afternoon to start days on Wednesday morning

YOUR key skill/ licenses needed;
- Team player and have the ability to work with in a team
- Strong fault finding and communication skills
- Knowledge of OH&S
- Underground hard rock mining experience (NOT Essential)
- Excellent safety standards
- Looking for long term permanent work on a FIFO roster

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tweed Heads NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
