Trade Account Manager

A great opportunity has arisen at Hardings for an Account Manager. Reporting to the Residential Sales Manager, you will represent our Hardings business across a designated region within Metropolitan Melbourne.

We are on the hunt for an Account Manager extraordinaire

You will have previous sales experience at a Sales Representative/Account Management level or similar capacity. Your ability to build strong relationships in a B2B environment within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role. Having a passion for outstanding customer service will result in delivering the required sales targets and KPI’s whilst adding real value to our customers. You will be an enthusiastic self-starter with proven results in driving sales growth in a target driven environment.

**About you**
- Achievement of sales, margin and product mix targets
- The ability to attract new customers in addition to growing existing business
- Analysis of sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
- Effective management of a diverse Builder centric customer base - Development and implementation of sales plans and initiatives
- You will be responsible for communicating and representing both the Hardings and wider IHG brands to key industry stakeholders through sales meetings, training and industry events.

**What you will bring to the role**
- A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
- A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the building industry with a focus on FOW Plumbing and Appliances.
- Previous experience in a similar sales role
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential
- A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials
