Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Role
Court Services Victoria is currently seeking an Office Manager to join our Office of General Counsel on a part-time time basis. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this position focuses on two primary areas: Legal Support and Administrative Assistance and will be based over three days, with flexibility in choosing the days that best suit your schedule.
**Your accountabilities will include**:
- Reporting to General Counsel, conduct legal research, analyse findings, and prepare summaries on various legal matters.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents under the guidance of the General Counsel.
- Preparation and proofreading legal documents, reports, and presentations.
- Assisting in the management of legal cases by organising and maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and scheduling appointments and court appearances.
- Maintaining and update legal database.
- Liaising with external parties, clients, and other legal professionals on behalf of the General Counsel
- Assisting the General Counsel with ad-hoc projects, research, and initiatives as required.
- Managing and coordinating the General Counsel's schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Managing expense reports, budget tracking, invoices and schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for meetings, including board and committee meetings, legal team meetings, and client meetings.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess the following.
- Degree in Law qualification.
- Ability to interpret and understand legal documentation.
- Possess strong attention to detail with exceptional interpersonal and administrative skills
- Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office suite.
