**Reporting Relationships**
Reports to: Directors, Line Managers
Direct Employees: Nil

**Primary role**
As a casual domestic support worker your main role will include supporting participants on the NDIS, DVA or Aged Care packages to maintain a clean and hygenic environment at home. We have a set list of tasks that are required to achive this, and it is just daily maintennance tasks, similar to how you would clean at home. No two days are the same as clients may request you assis them on projects, like organising cabinets or clothes, helping to prepare dinner, putting away groceries etc and this can sometimes take up the whole shift in which case you would just pick up the cleaning next time. This is a support role, meaning you are not a maid or a cleaner you are their to assis the particpant with the domestic tasks they cannot do themselves and the long term goal for any particapnt would be working towards independancy. Sgist wille ve located around Ennogera and surrounding suburbs. Travel to shifts is also paid for on top of your weekly wage/hourly rate.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
1. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Attitude Required:
Must have a able to build connections with people, as having poeple in your home can be quite exposing and makes us feel vulnerable so we like our clients to feel at ease as possible. we are a judgement free zone and just get on with the task of helping people. All cleaning equipment & products are fully supplied to you. You also must be eligible for the following:

- Working with Children (Blue Card) & Disability Services (Yellow Card).

2. Must comply with supervisors at all times and are to fulfil the following duties as required
- a) Carry out daily duties as set out by clients Service agreement
- b) Always act in the best interest of the participant
- c) Show up to work promptly and conduct yourself in a professional manner by compliance with All policies & Procedures.
- d) Report all near misses, incidents, accidents, confrontations complaints in relations to

Quality, Safety and Environmental to AkinCare Management at the first available opportunity and provide written statements/incident reports or evidence as required.

3. Ensure any required paperwork is completed within the requested 4me frames.
- Timesheets, Case notes, Incident reporting, requests etc

5. Not be excluding from obtaining a Blue & Yellow Card

This job. is autonomous as we are based in North Brisbane, so we use an app to organise ytour shifts so must be self suffiicient
