The CommBank Small Business Banking team have a passion for helping Australian small businesses succeed. The team seek to understand the business and personal goals of business owners and use their expertise and specialist teams to provide tailored financial solutions.

Small Business Banking is a part of CBA Business Banking and provides in branch face-to-face and remote support to Small Businesses across Australia. In Small Business Banking, we cultivate strong connections with our communities and customers by building deep connections, having compelling proposition and exceptional execution.

As our Analyst you will be passionate about customer service and focused on achieving our goal of being number 1 in client satisfaction. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain further exposure to Small Business client with a strong and successful business. Your role will specifically involve;
- Financial modelling and analysis relating to Small Business clients
- Prepare credit submissions for new facilities, and coordination of deal execution through documentation and funding
- Prepare various reporting requirements including your pipeline of work in progress
- Working closely with Business Bankers to meet client requirements

**What are we looking for?**

We're high performing, customer focused team and we're looking for a self-driven Analyst with a proven track record within similar Business/ Commercial banking roles. In this team you'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to small business clients and work with some of the most skilled Business Bankers. To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience with business lending including writing and analysing credit transactions, ideally within Business and/or Commercial Banking.
- Strong understanding of balance sheets, P&L, structuring of loans, securities and financial products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders e.g. Business Bankers, Credit/Risk Department, Group Lending Services etc.
- Client service experience ideally in a Commercial or Business banking environment.
- Well-developed financial analysis and modelling skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
