**About the role**:
We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our Strategic Research and Analytics team within our Infrastructure group on an open term basis.

As a member of the Strategic Research and Analytics team, the Analyst will provide investment reporting and analytical support to support QIC’s Global Infrastructure funds and strategies.

This role forms part of the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) with key responsibilities for coordinating the preparation of Infrastructure collateral including commentary, data, and analytics information as a critical input into investor and PMG deliverables. The Analyst will also assist with day-to-day research activities and support the broader team as needed.

Key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assist in the preparation of quarterly market reports and insights for regular client engagement.
- Work with the investor relations team and other members of GI to help manage proposals, responses to RFPs, due diligence questions and marketing materials.
- Assist with the coordination of projects and new initiatives across GI while demonstrating strong project management practices.
- Maintain and use strategic portfolio models, including interacting with asset operating models and asset managers for the relevant data.
- Manage quarterly updates for the Client Portfolio Reviews.

**About You**:
You will present with a collaborative work style and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment in an open and transparent manner. You will be able to proactively engage with various stakeholders in order to seek out and obtain key information used in reporting.

You will also present with:

- Relevant experience within the investment/funds management industry.
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance and/or Law.
- Keen interest in working in infrastructure and developing a deep understanding of the asset class.
- Research capabilities, including data gathering, analysis and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical ability.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative with an eye for detail and improving processes, practices and deliverables.
- Collaborative approach with a desire to work as a team and assist others.
- Strong project management and organisation skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
