**A Day in the Life
**Reporting to the Deliver Quality Leader - ANZ, Japan, SEA, the Deliver Quality Specialist is an experienced Quality professional, who will be responsible for the Quality Compliance of the Australian and New Zealand Distribution Centre(s) Operation, operated by DHL. They will be supporting the operation in conjunction with the Medtronic Operations team, with a focus on compliance of the various QMS processes, issue management, solutions, and improvement initiatives.

This role also requires excellent communication and collaboration with internal operational and functional stakeholders in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region and will provide ample exposure to Global and APAC projects.

**Position Summary**
- Operational Quality support of all distribution-related processes (warehousing storage and handling, value-added services, spine loaner, transportation Scrap, obsolescence, expired products, storage, handling, distribution, WHS management, traceability
- Process implementation, troubleshooting, Quality training
- Partner activities: Transport, warehousing (3PLs), forward stocking (FSLs) spine loaner SC
- Certifications, audit preparedness
- CAPA, RCA, validation, calibration, escalations + global perspective
- The following, within the scope of the above distribution-related areas:

- Leading and supporting CAPA and Root Cause Analysis
- Leading ANZ Deliver Quality improvement projects, and supporting APAC & Global projects
- Occasional support of calibration and qualification activities
- Effective stakeholder engagement & influencing.
- Process data monitoring and analysis, as input to improvement activities.
- Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines.
- Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance.
- Leading Quality Culture Program in Distribution Centre
- Performs duties in compliance with Quality System, environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations. All other duties as assigned

**Must Have**
- Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Science, Healthcare or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of Quality Management System principles
- 3+ years’ experience working within a Healthcare / Lifesciences Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or similar)
- Experience in quality assurance within warehousing environment highly regarded. (Familiar in inbound, non-conformance process, temperature control process, change control process)
- Project Management experience
- Sound CAPA / Root Cause Analysis skills
- Sound working knowledge of Risk Management Principles. Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and orally, to wide variety of audiences
