**In this role, you'll**:
Join our Enterprise Geospatial team as a Geospatial Specialist, where you will play an integral role in delivering a technical uplift project for our Transport Management Centre. You will influence and help shape how GIS is used across an organisation that moves millions of people every day.

You’ll play a key role in making high-quality geospatial data accessible across our organisation, driving the sourcing, transformation, and distribution of data from both internal and external sources. You’ll be building best-practice capabilities for how data is discovered, accessed, and shared.

You’ll be managing ELT processes to meet service level agreements and ensure that geospatial data is always accurate, timely, and fit for purpose, whether it’s for analytics, business intelligence, or data science. And just as importantly, you’ll be working with stakeholders such as technical teams, internal and external project planning and delivery teams, and business leaders, to deliver real solutions, on time and with impact.

This is a Temporary, Full-Time position up to 30 June 2026, and offers hybrid working options from our Macquarie Park office.

**About you**

You will have the following skills and experience:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in computing, spatial technologies, or information technology, along with experience in the spatial information technology industry.
- Strong understanding of geospatial information systems, both theoretical and practical.
- Confident using GIT version control and modern authentication methods.
- Skilled in working with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud environments.
- Technically strong, with a collaborative and curious mindset.

You’re also proactive in finding better ways to solve problems and deliver impactful solutions and have a flair for translating data into decisions and systems into real-world outcomes.
