The company’s strong electrical engineering structure is well supported by a production team that is focused on reducing lead times for customers. Weber plays an important role in the supply chain of several electricity distributors, hence the ability to produce special assemblies on short notice is critical.

We are seeking skilled and qualified Electronic Equipment Trades Workers

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
- Read schematic and wiring diagrams
- Work with the engineering team to implement new designs into the system
- Build a range of low voltage switchboards, cabinet, pillars and pits
- Adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
- Reassemble, test operate and adjust equipment
- Advise users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
- Receive messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission
- Monitor radio traffic, and transmitting and receiving voice messages
- Install electronic instruments and control systems
- Work with the production team to achieve DIFOT requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Trade qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience in switchboard manufacturing or installation
- Ability to read schematic drawings
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong diagnostic abilities
- Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics

**Salary**: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
