- The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
- The Clinical Nutrition department consists of approximately 25 EFT across RMH sites. We provide care to our patients within the acute, subacute and community therapy services across all speciality services. We operate a 7-day service. The department is committed to providing evidence based, patient centred nutrition care. Wellbeing, supervision and reflective practice, professional development, student teaching, quality improvement and research are key focuses of our team.

**Your new role**

The Grade 4 Clinical Lead Dietitian provides clinical expertise and leadership and has a prominent role in ensuring delivery of high-quality nutrition services at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
- Core responsibilities include:

- Providing clinical leadership and supervision.
- Collaborative engagement with key disciplines and partners to deliver excellence in patient care.
- As a recognised or emerging clinical leader, undertakes a clinical caseload in an area of expertise.

**About you**:

- You have broad and relevant experience in acute nutrition care with significant experience and expertise in critical care, nutrition support and surgery.
- You are a skilled communicator with a passion for leadership.
- You are innovative resourceful and adaptive to change.
- You have 10 years relevant clinical experience.
- You have a higher degree (or proceeding towards completion) at Masters or PhD level.
- You are eligible for full membership of Dietitians Australia.
