**About the Role**

As a Grade 1 Dietitian you will provide dietetic services within Monash Health Allied Health Adult Inpatient Care Services, with the aim of improving patient outcome and/or facilitating discharge. You will actively contribute to the Nutrition and Dietetic and multidisciplinary teams by providing best practice clinical care, sharing knowledge and participating in professional development, quality improvement activities, and projects as delegated.

The Grade 1 dietitian will be required to work in any clinical area at any or all campuses of Monash Health as and when required. Such a requirement may be a temporary arrangement, on an ad hoc basis, or a permanent change.

The Grade 1 dietitian will be required to participate in the Grade 1 rotation roster, weekend and public holiday roster and act as a Key Liaison Person (KLP) as required.

**A day in the life**:
No two days will be the same as you immerse yourself in multidisciplinary teams providing dietetic care to a range of patients. You will be supported by your Grade 1 peers, clinical supervisor and a welcoming Department of Dietitians.

**What You Bring**:

- At least 6 months clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication skills
- A willingness to learn and develop with the ability to engage in reflective practice
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced work environment

**What you need**:

- Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia;
- Eligibility for Accredited Practising APD membership;
- 2 Clinical Referees (inclusive of your direct line Manager)
- Current Drivers Licence
