**About the Roles**

The College is recruiting for a Lecturer, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Ensuring the activities of the School are operated effectively and efficiently, providing a quality service to the students and staff.
- Producing research and scholarship that informs learning and teaching, and curriculum innovation and development.
- Providing administrative support to the Head of School, Course Coordinator, and other academic staff.
- Build the profile and reputation of the College with stakeholders, the community and potential students.

**Selection Criteria**

:

- Hold a PhD qualification in relevant Education discipline.
- Lecturing and teaching experience (3+ years experience would be an advantage).
- Committed Christian, involved in a local congregation.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at a tertiary level, learning, scholarship and research, including curriculum development and modification.
- An understanding of current and emerging trends in Early Childhood and/or Initial Teacher Education and training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students; ability to communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with colleagues.
- Technological literacy and experience in developing online communication tools and previous experience in online education is desirable.
- Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diversity and ability to work with students, staff, and administrators, including pastoral skills in mentoring staff and supporting students.
- This permanent position is based in Macquarie Park._
