**About us**

Next Generation School of Early Learning is a family-owned Early Childhood Education and Care Centre operating SOR in the fasting growing suburb of Hammond Park, Western Australia since April 2019. We are a 92-placed licensed centre catering for children 6 weeks to 5 years across our 5 early childhood classrooms providing an individualised play-based approach to learning.

We value our educators and offer to pay our educators on permanent part-time contracts above the award rate. We support our educators on a daily basis by providing each room with an extended float cover giving educators an extra pair of hands and time off the floor to complete the required documentation.

We have a coffee machine on site which is available to all educators and families to get their caffeine fix throughout the day serving cappuccinos, lattes, mochas, mochaccinos, macchiatos, short blacks, long blacks and hot chocolates.

As our Next Generation family continues to grow we are looking for another educator to join our team in the position of an extended float assistant educator working a maximum of 37.5 hours per week (7:45am - 4:15pm) in either our Pre-Kindy 1 room (2yrs-2.5yrs) or Kindy (3yr-5yrs).

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Certificate III in Early Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
- OR
- Diploma in Early Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
- First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis Training (not essential)
- Working with Children's check
- No experience is required. We are happy to take on newly qualified Cert 3 Early Childhood Educators.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage in meaningful play-based learning experiences with children using the approved Early Years Learning Framework to guide your practice
- Complete all relevant documentation on a daily/weekly/bi-monthly basis, this includes - daily journals, individual child observations/reflections, accident/incident reports, documentation of individual routines etc.
- Effectively communicate with all educators, families and children
- Ensure the health and safety of children and provide quality care for children
- Develop positive and respectful relationships with children, educators and families.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: $24.76 - $34.85 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Mask wearing is not compulsory but is supported if individuals choose to. RAT tests are available on-site if required. Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination and other immunisation is required. Cleaner attends the centre after operating hours daily.

- Hammond Park, WA 6164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
