As senior leader, bring you passion for transformational change while guiding a team of 40 FTE to deliver operational excellence.

Lead a team of 4-5 direct reports (Team Leaders) across approximately 40 FTE Workers Compensation professionals.
Use your previous scheme leadership experience (Worker Compensation, CTP, Personal Injury, Income Protection or Life Insurance) to provide clear operational direction, while supporting the team in an adaptive manner.
Key success in this role includes building strong professional relationships with stakeholders, driving team performance and engagement, mitigating performance issues and identifying areas of business improvement to streamline operations.
This is a
**permanent full-time role** with the option to work in the office 2 days a week or more if preferred.
**The office is based in Melbourne CBD.**

**The Role**
- Lead 4-5 team leaders & approx. 40 FTE, driving best-in-market claims performance outcomes.
- Drive team performance while identifying and mitigating issues.
- Maintain continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities which will enhance operational performance for your team and wider business.
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships to support and align with the business's claims strategies.
- Undertake key audits and quality assurance to ensure business performance against KPIs.
**About You**
- Experience managing Team Leaders is essential, ideally across high volume environments.
- Strong scheme understanding from either, Worker Compensation, CTP, Personal Injury, Income Protection or Life Insurance.
- Proven ability to implement strategic and organisational change.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- People skills, a passion for working with others, while acting as role model for your team and the wider business.
