staff at all levels.
**Key External Relationships**:Relevant external agencies and State Government
Departements, Blue Mountains community.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remain alert to business situations (risks and opportunities) and develop strategies in
collaboration with functional experts that led to sound decisions that drive success.
- Determine data sources and develop real-time data insights that inform operational and
strategic positioning. This can include design of open data, use of mapping solutions,
auditing of data and the like.
- Work with functional experts to review business workflows including process mapping,
document / web content, procedure / policy, data analytics and reporting.
- Act as an administrator / power user in the use of cloud based / on premise software
systems. Investigate opportunities to maximise productivity.
- Implement mobility solutions that streamline field inspections to provide recordable and
discoverable information.
- Coach others (in office and remotely), in workflow and system use.
- Review and update web data to ensure currency of information and use of words / images
that are in line with organisational writing styles and other guidelines.
- Act as Council’s point of contact, liaise with State Government authorities to resolve
registration, lodgement, integration issues with the NSW Planning Portal and other
government systems; provide feedback as required.
- Align business processes to changes in legislation. Take action to keep current and
compliant.
- Examine opportunities for maintaining culture in a virtual setting. This includes maximising
the best aspects of remote vs co-located work, etc.
- Act as a key cultural champion working in an environment that requires collaboration and
communication. Remain agile to respond to the variety of workplace demands whether
that internal or externally driven.
- Provide financial analysis, including cost, determination of fee structures and historical and
predictive trends.
- Design and manage master documents such as forms, guides, checklists and standard
templates.
- Lead team members to achieve successful work management outcomes in value adding
activities. Make operational decisions to direct and focus team efforts.
- Provide ad hoc operational backup and support to cover flutating workloads in key areas
of responsibility.

**Workplace Health & Safety**
