Flora disabilty care Services is seeking an EXPERIENCED in (BPD, PTSD) Female Disability Support Workers to join our team to support a clients located in eastern suburbs (bellevue hills, kensington). This is a casual role that will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with disability, providing personalised support to help them live independently and achieve their goals.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation and household chores
- Assisting with community engagement activities
- Advocating for clients' needs and preferences, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to monitor client progress and outcomes
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and supportive environment

**What we're looking for**
- A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field is desirable
- Previous experience in a similar disability support role, with a demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with disability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of each client
- A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with disability
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

**Job Types**: Casual, Contract

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
