**Your Role**:

- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Provide individual support services and direct care for people with disability
- Support the client in community participation programs
- Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers
- Supporting with Domestic activities and assistance with personal care
- Medication assistance and assist with meal preparation
- The ability to support participants to achieve social and self-care goals
- Experience working with people with disabilities from diverse backgrounds, complex mental health and behaviours of concern
- Are a clear and strong communicator, both written and verbally

To be successful in obtaining an interview for these positions, applicants must have or are willing to obtain before their employment starts:

- Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent
- Recent Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Understanding of NDIS Code of Conduct and Best Practice Standards
- Car, driver’s license and comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Vaccine Certificate - 3 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne South Eastern Suburbs VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
