The Energy Alliance is a nationwide leader in Energy Management, providing energy services to our established client base over the past 20 years. Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, our team takes great pride in working with a 'Customer first' philosophy.
In this role, you will play a vital part in servicing existing clients as well as continuing to build upon our SME portfolio with your passion for sales. This is a phone-based sales role and being able to communicate clearly will be a critical element of this role. It is our expectation you will engage with current and new customers, matching our services to their needs, delivering a great customer experience throughout the sales journey.
**Working with a close-knit team, your diverse role will include but is not limited to**:
- Targeted prospecting to the relevant client sectors
- Building a robust pipeline of opportunities from your cold calling activities to ensure ongoing success.
- Facilitating sales proposals for our services
- Take the lead in recommending the best fit solution to meet the customers’ needs.
- Ability to build strong rapport and relationships with clients.
- Managing an existing pipeline of customer renewals, effectively and in timely manner
**This role will suit applicants with the following skills and attributes**:
- Experience in fast processing, phone-based sales.
- Comfortable in using all Microsoft programs i.e. Outlook and Excel
- Looking for a driven person with an inbuilt desire to succeed in a sale environment.
- Knowledge of the energy industry is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Both tactical and analytical in your approach, you are able to easily navigate complex solutions.
- Be a strong team player who is proactive and takes initiative, bringing your experience to share.
- Ability to work autonomously with a high level of self-discipline is essential.

- A permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
- Attractive annual base salary (negotiable for the right applicant)
