This opportunity sits within our National Small Business team, who are supporting retention and growth for Australia’s Small Businesses and clients through a new digital experience within Aon.

Be part of this exciting new journey, take the next step as a Junior Broker as you focus on educating clients on risk and insurance products, submitting, and brokering business, presenting, and closing opportunities and servicing accounts.

You will work with awesome people and be supported to build your skills and confidence through initial training and ongoing development in this new operating model. **On any given day you will**:

- Achieve personal and team retention targets on small transactional accounts
- Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment
- Negotiate terms with internal and external underwriting staff
- Partner with clients and colleagues across the business
- Multi-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologies
- Participate in training and mentor sessions to develop technical knowledge

**We are interested in hearing from people who possess**:

- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Insurance sales, Financial Services, Health funds, or similar organizations servicing large client volumes
- Experience operating in a retention or sales environment achieving KPI’s
- Analyse information and data, to find opportunities and prioritize
- Driven towards setting and achieving goals and making a difference
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Excellent attention to detail and be able to meet timelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Hold or willingness to complete RG146 Tier 1 insurance broking within first three months
- Possess a zest for learning and ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed.
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills
