- About the roleAn opportunity exists to join Zurich’s Finance division as a Performance & Reporting Analyst.

In this key role you will be supporting the delivery of business wide expense analysis and insight (both direct and allocated). This includes benefits reporting, monthly forecasting and month end closing. You will monitor aspects of expense and project financial reporting to ensure business is clear with our expense agenda and deliverables for the Life Insurance and General Insurance business.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Expense reporting and strategic analysis of expenses including month end reporting and close
- Analysis and preparation of various outputs to stakeholders, including flash reports and other ad hoc reporting
- Assist in projections, scenario analysis and preparation of articulate papers for Steering and Executive Committees and provision of cost optimization strategies for the business
- Analysis and interpretation of data from systems to help implement more efficient expense reporting for the business
- Important to your success- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Finance, with CA/CPA
- Strong experience in planning and analysis roles, including management accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including P&L and balance sheet
- Knowledge of process, methods, and tools of financial reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- An analytical mindset and ability to work in an agile environment
