**About the Role**

As a Principal Platform Consultant, you will work with enterprise banking clients to design, implement, and optimize cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Your role will be pivotal in delivering cloud strategy, architecture, and governance best practices while mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and implementation of cloud platforms with a focus on GCP, while also leveraging AWS and Azure where required.
- Develop and implement cloud strategies for banking clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on support to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, architects, and engineers, to deliver robust cloud solutions.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Drive automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption within cloud environments.
- Ensure data security and compliance with banking regulations and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and engineers.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Extensive hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector, with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations.
- Expertise in cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.
- Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/AKS).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, and containerization.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
