Program Manager

**How will I help?**

Are you a seasoned project leader with a strong delivery focus and willingness to delve in to the technical details to support your team? This exciting opportunity within Group Treasury Technology offers a chance to make a real difference in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Lead the simultaneous delivery of multiple technology across compliance and regulatory initiatives, impacting all Lines of Business.
- Oversee planning activities to optimize resource utilization and accelerate delivery across multiple project streams.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identify potential delivery risks, and coach your team.
- Proactively manage and mitigate delivery, operational, and program risks, providing coaching to your team.
- Coordinate quarterly planning in line with WIB (Westpac Institutional Bank) deliverables
- Work with stakeholders to provide timely impact assessments, budgetary guidance, and scheduling optionality
- Asist in co-ordinating sprint planning and maintain strict resource led ticket management throughout the development lifecycle.
- Asist in providing and facilitating technical discussions as required
- Provide and foster a delivery focused culture within the team.
- Engage with other key stakeholders to identify efficiency improvements within the delivery process and implement process improvement strategies
- Manage resource requirements for deliverables ensuring correct skill allocations.
- Cross team/department delivery planning, prioritisation, and problem resolution

**What do I need?**
- Extensive experience leading and delivering technology programs/projects ideally within one of the following areas:

- Financial Markets
- Group Treasury
- Or similar banking environment
- 7+ years of experience in project/program management.
- 5+ years working in a large and complex organization.
- 5+ years' experience in the financial services industry.
- Technical knowledge of SQL (highly regarded)
