**About the role**:
We are seeking a talented, passionate and commercially focused Finance Business Partner - Meat & Food Manufacturing Transformation to support the Finance Manager. This position will support the Meat BU and the National GM Food Processing in setting and executing strategy for the Meat business and for Coles-owned food manufacturing sites

Further, you’ll be responsible for
- Testing and challenging the commercial rationale of projects tabled, and prioritising projects in line with the Business strategy and within budget constraints
- Supporting the development of strategy and business cases, and reporting and tracking implementation of these
- Coordinating Capex / Opex budgets, forecasts, and periodic reporting
- Understanding business context and identifying opportunities for improvement, including:

- Driving and validating profit and performance improvement opportunities within the Meat BU
- Supports and challenges the Meat BU in identifying and validating COGS out initiatives and holding the BU to account in achieving its targets
- Simplifying and distilling complex financial scenarios to non-finance stakeholders
- Being a business coach to improve commercial acumen of the Commercial teams, and support in the development of the Meat and Food Manufacturing graduate.

**About you and your skills**

As Finance Business Partner, you possess excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to hold stakeholders and the business to account for delivering performance objectives.

You’ll have a strong commercial acumen, be a passionate, people focused and strategically driven professional with demonstrated experience leading large finance teams. And you thrive on a challenge

Ideally, you’d also have:

- Experience in the preparation of business cases
- Ability to think broadly, to identify and analyse multiple outcomes and issues affecting business proposals, and clearly communicate these to impacted stakeholders
- Proven ability to challenge and influence key business stakeholders to improve financial outcomes during business case development
- Experience of working with non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to analyse both financial and non-financial data to provide insightful commercial analysis and support
- Superior time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks within a challenging environment, work independently and communicate timelines and competing priorities
- CPA/CA qualified (or in the process)
- FMCG or Retail experience preferred
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to distil detailed and sometimes complex financial, commercial, and operational material into digestible forms, identifying key issues
- Comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior leadership
- Experience supporting commercial negotiations, ideally prior deals or transactions experience preferred
