We are seeking a talented, passionate and commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join our Dairy, Frozen and Convenience team.

We are seeking a talented, passionate and commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join our Dairy, Frozen and Convenience team.

This is a highly strategic role in our team and as such we are seeking a senior Finance Business Partner who can demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Milk and Dairy industry preferably with a background in relationship management, supplier negotiation and understands both the retail and wholesale markets.

Provide fact-based insight and commentary for BAU performance.
- Influence business partner decision making with fact-based insights and innovative analysis.
- Support the delivery of direct milk sourcing tasks, ensuring month end accrual, reporting and compliance processes are maintained.
- Support the governance surrounding all business processes and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained. Drive objectives through ensuring business priorities and day to day processes are delivered
- Identification and analysis of commercial opportunities; providing recommendations to the team based on in-depth analytical review
- Holding teams accountable to delivering against strategic targets, with close monitoring of risks and opportunities
- Business case development for projects including capital request and other ad hoc projects
- Identify and define system improvements to enhance the delivery of team and Coles wide objectives

**About you and your skills**:
We are hiring and developing to shape leaders of the future, therefore, to be successful in this role you’ll need the following qualification, skills and experience;
- CPA/CA qualified with 2+ years PQE
- FMCG or Retail experience (preferred)
- TM1 and SAP (or similar) experience preferable
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive results
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, with proven ability to educate financial and non-financial stakeholders on the key drivers of performance.
- Interpret, challenge and clarify ad-hoc requests by determining the key questions that need to be answered and appropriate format and priority of response.
- Skilled PowerPoint user, able to build compelling presentations which communicate complex financial messages into a clear story for senior, non-financial audiences. Often within quick timeframe.
- Exceptional report writing skills, can use written presentations as a mechanism to influence the business and drive action.
- Excellent data manipulation and analytical skills. Proficient Excel.
