We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our fresh produce team. As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative solutions to our customers, you will be part of an exciting new project to help deliver the best possible customer experience.

**About the Role**:
The Finance Business Partner will partner with Fresh produce and Project Leads to provide key commercial and financial information on various project lifecycles. A self-starter, you will own key financial information and analysis in order to correctly assess projects throughout their lifecycle. You’ll also:

- Influence business partner decision making with fact-based insights and innovative analysis
- Budgeting and Forecasting for the project, including P&L
- Providing fact-based insight and commentary for BAU performance along with solving adhoc financial queries
- Establishing a payments process for all points of the value chain, improving manual processes and integrating into Coles’ systems
- Liaising with the different stakeholders relevant to the project including both internal and external teams
- Supporting negotiations with service providers and other suppliers
- Developing models for ROI on marketing, trade spend and eComm solutions

About You and Your Skills

We’re after an experienced and well-rounded Finance Business Partner that has had experience working on and delivering Projects

You’ll also need:

- Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Finance experience in a retail/FMCG environment desirable but not essential
- Experience with project finance support and ideally creating new P&Ls and building transactional and reporting processes
- Experience of working with and influencing non-financial stakeholders
- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
- Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders to develop ‘win win’ solutions
