**STORE MANAGER / BATTERY TECHNICIAN - BATTERY WORLD - CHERMSIDE**

**START WORK ASAP - FULL TIME.**

**The Company**: Battery World is one of the biggest franchises in Australia with 110 stores across the country. Battery World has also won the 2018 franchise chain of the year and is known as a place of professionalism and customer service, as well as taking great care with clients and employees alike.

Whether it be a small watch battery to a large truck battery - we cover the range and it can be intimidating trying to find what you need. As soon as the customer comes through the door we believe in greeting them in the friendliest manner and trying to make them feel as comfortable as possible whilst providing them with options and recommending an option that best suits their need.

**The Position**: Store Manager.

This will help you with your problem solving skills and will push you to step out of your comfort zone to come to a conclusion that will work for the customer.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role you must have/do;
- **Living In Chermside or within 5-8 km's of the store address would be advantageous.**:

- Manual current drivers licence
- Being able to work full time 5 days a week including at least 1 weekend day. You Being able to lift & fit large batteries weighing up to 60 kg
- Retail experience preferably as a Store Manager would be advantageous.
- **Auto Electrician will be a definite advantage**:

- A positive, hard-working & enthusiastic attitude
- Good communication skills - the ability to understand and explain technical products
- Interest in Automotive/Electrical
- Able to partake in After Hour Callouts

**Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include;
- Managing 1 X Casual Staff
- Team building, B2B Marketing, Opening the store, Closing the store, Serving customers, Handling customer enquiries, Making sure the shelves are stocked, Fitting batteries, Charging batteries, Maintaining batteries, Closing sales, Putting sales through the system, Ordering, Till Closing (End Of Day), Product knowledge and research, Performing mobile roadside assistance.

Pay: $31.00 - $32.00 per hour

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus
- Commission
- Overtime pay
