We are looking for 2 x experienced fulltime transport company manager to join our team. Duties will include:

- Planning and scheduling truck routes, ensuring efficient deliveries, and optimizing load capacity.
- Overseeing the maintenance and management of the trucking fleet, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy, safe, and compliant with regulations.
- Allocating drivers and trucks to meet daily operational needs, monitoring driver availability, and managing work schedules.
- Managing the company’s budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyzing financial reports to ensure profitability and setting pricing structures for services.
- Overseeing fuel, maintenance, and labor costs to keep the operation within budget.
- Ensuring that all transport activities adhere to industry regulations and legal requirements, such as driver hours and weight limits.
- Implementing safety policies for drivers, conducting training on safety procedures, and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers, handling their inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Managing any issues or delays in transport and ensuring timely communication with clients about delays or changes.
- Overseeing the hiring, training, and supervision of drivers, ensuring they have the necessary licenses and certifications.
- Conducting performance reviews, addressing any conduct or performance issues, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Implementing and managing logistics software to track shipments, monitor fuel usage, and improve operational efficiency.
- Using data to make informed decisions, such as route optimization and performance tracking.
- Identifying new business opportunities, optimizing routes, and exploring ways to expand services.
- Implementing environmentally friendly practices, such as fuel-efficient driving and exploring alternate fuel options.

This is a pivotal role requiring a manager with experience within the transport industry. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience providing leadership and effective commercial and operational decision making. You can demonstrate:

- Experience managing people within a route-market and shuttle transport teams.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performance team
- Understanding of financial drivers and cost control
- Process driven, analytical and methodical

**Salary**: $ 80,000 + 11.5% Super

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
