Position Details
** About the Role: National Transport Manager, Convenience**
We're seeking a talented **National Transport Manager, Convenience** to lead our operations in Australia, based at our Tullamarine facility in Melbourne.
This pivotal role offers the chance to shape the strategy for Lineage's convenience transport network, ensuring seamless operations while driving efficiency, innovation, and exceptional customer service.
**What You'll Do**:
- Oversee daily national transport operations across multiple sites.
- Lead and support convenience transport supervisors and QSR operations.
- Manage P&L for convenience and QSR transport businesses.
- Strategically plan and execute growth initiatives, ensuring seamless onboarding of new customers.
- Optimize route planning and fleet utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) regulations.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within the logistics or transport industry.
- Business/Logistics qualifications with expertise in managing multi-site, 7-day transport operations.
- P&L management experience for both direct and contract driver fleets.
- A safety-first mindset with the ability to train teams on compliance and operational excellence.
