Centrum Furniture is a furniture wholesaler based in Sydney, proudly supplying stylish and sustainable solid timber furniture to retailers across Australia. We’re looking for a Customer Service & Administrative Assistant to join our small but passionate team. If you love helping people, staying organized, and want to work in a supportive, design-driven environment—this role could be for you.
**About the Role**
As our Customer Service & Admin Assistant, you'll be the friendly point of contact for our retail customers and trade partners. You’ll also keep our operations running smoothly behind the scenes—coordinating orders, maintaining records, and assisting the team with various admin tasks.
This role offers flexible part-time hours, making it ideal for individuals seeking a work-life balance while contributing meaningfully to a growing company.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Process sales orders, issue invoices, and follow up on delivery timelines
- Maintain and update customer records, product databases, and internal documentation
- Support general office administration and coordination tasks
- Liaise with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth customer experiences
- Assist in compiling reports and basic data entry for finance or operations
- Provide ad hoc support to the management team as needed
**About You**
- Experience in a customer service or administrative support role
- Strong communication skills—clear, polite, and responsive
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Enjoy working in a small team and contributing to a positive, can-do culture
