The Department of Parliamentary Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audiovisual Officer to work within the Hansard team and operate the digital audio monitoring equipment in the Legislative Assembly, Legislative Council and committees.

**About the role**
Reporting to the Audiovisual and Broadcast Lead you play a key role in the day to day operations for Hansard. In this role you will operate digital audio monitoring equipment for the proceedings of both chambers of Parliament and parliamentary committees.
You will liaise with internal and external clients in relation to their requirements/problems and coordinate with technical and broadcast staff to provide professional advice and assistance to ensure that all work is undertaken in a professional and timely manner.
You will also assist with the broadcasting of these proceedings for live web streaming service; provide maintenance support for the Hansard audio and broadcast systems and assist in the production of Hansard.
**About you**
To succeed in this role you will possess technical knowledge of audio and video systems and their operation and have operational knowledge of audiovisual equipment.
You will need to possess strong customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi task and effectively perform as part of a highly functioning team.
