A fantastic full-time opportunity exists for a hard-working, data management system guru to join Huon’s Planning and Operations Support team as an Operations Support Officer.

**The role**

Conveniently located in Hobart’s CBD, this position plays an integral part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure a timely and accurate flow of data through a variety of data management systems and reports. You'll be monitoring and evaluating data quality, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved whilst support team members to develop skills to optimise the utilisation of data management systems. You will provide support to the Planning and Operations Analyst to plan harvests and assist in analysis. There's a strong focus on collaborating on continuous improvement of Huon's data management systems and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

**About you**
- You have demonstrated knowledge and experience with data entry and use of database systems, ideally Fishtalk and MEX.
- You have intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite in particular Excel.
- You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- You have a current and valid driver’s licence and are willing to travel intrastate as required.
- You are proactive, resilient, and can effectively manage your workload.
- You have a strong ability to effectively plan, problem solve and self-manage workload to meet competing priorities.
- You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.
