Real Estate Investment Manager

**Your role**

We're looking for a Real Estate Investment Manager to:

- Be market facing and assist with sourcing of new acquisition and development opportunities across sectors, including Build to Rent.
- Assist with financial modelling and underwriting of acquisitions.
- Assist with asset management of the existing portfolio of office assets located across NSW, Victoria and Queensland and support in managing our Build to Rent portfolio.
- Supervise external development managers on significant development projects and capital upgrade works across new and existing assets.
- Assist with driving strategic ESG asset plans and oversee execution of ESG strategies
- Prepare and execute business plans, budgets and investment monitoring tools for assets and funds under management.
- Supervise external service providers - including leasing agents, property managers, valuers and other consultants.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, performance analysis, and investment presentations for both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Undertake hold / sell analysis and support the execution of property transactions, including acquisition underwriting and due diligence.
- Contribute to AUM growth by assisting with the design, marketing and launch of new investment strategies and mandates.
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential new investors.

**Your team**

You'll be working in our Real Estate team in Sydney Australia. Our team is responsible for actively managing real estate investments within APAC across the major real estate sectors. Our capabilities are focused on core and value-added strategies, but they also include other strategies across the risk / return spectrum. You'll play an important role in the strategic management of our properties, optimisation of our portfolios, and growth of the business.

**Your expertise**
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel) and experience working with Argus Enterprise desirable
- University degree - major in finance, commerce or economics desirable
- Ideally +7 years of relevant experience in real estate investment management.
- A strong understanding of the Australian real estate investment market, the real estate development process and conventions is desirable. Development management experience desirable
- Established network of Australian real estate market contacts
- Experience working within a comprehensive risk and compliance framework
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong numerical and financial modelling skills
