Home base for this role will be in Yatala but travel to other sites will be required.

**About the Role**
As the Health and Safety Business Partner you will be instrumental in ensuring that all health and safety programs are aligned to the newly created strategic plan and roadmap. This role will see you working as part of a team managing a high-risk portfolio of machinery and activities.

This business focused role will see you engaging onsite with key stakeholders to support and coach them through their safety journey and to enhance the overall culture of the business.

More specifically this will include:

- Support the execution of the enterprise health and safety strategy, plan, and priorities
- Partner and influence business critical roles to increase HSE knowledge, performance and culture
- Support the execution of health and safety standards, guidance and tools into the business
- Assist with continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities and proposing solutions to enhance overall HSE performance

**About You**
To be successful in this role it is imperative you are a people person. This is a role that engages with the waste processing business to drive safety performance, so a new aged approach is critical.
- Minimum 5 years practical health and safety role
- Previous exposure to effectively partnering with the operations teams and key stakeholders
- Fluency in safety incident response, investigations etc
- Previous success in driving health and safety initiative and programs locally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of transport / COR highly advantageous
