**MANAGER | EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS**

**Key Responsibilities**

The primary role of the Manager | Events & Activations will be to lead and execute the physical marketing activities, particularly around the annual Artesian Hospitality venue event calendar, Marketing, Communications and Media Strategy. The role requires an individual with a strong understanding of fan and community engagement, event management and a proven ability to work alongside a diverse range of stakeholders. Ideally, you will understand and have experience across major event delivery, including integration with agencies and commercial partners.

**The Role**
- Manage the overall events and activations calendar with a team of event & activation specialists
- Identify suitable opportunities that add to the value to the overall marketing, communications and media strategy
- Ensure their team delivers to it objectives, including creating memorable experiences, lasting connections with the Artesian brand and its venues, attendance and ticket sales
- Lead the creative concept development process that produces an event-time product experience that creates value for money across various target markets
- Develop, manage and deliver the various events
- Work closely with venue managers to produce successful events
- Manage project budgets to ensure they are delivered within budget and to the highest quality
- Manage and ensure all suppliers, contractors, and staff adhere to policies and procedures
- Assist the broader marketing team where required

**The Person**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, commercial and/or events
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in creating and running event activation programs
- Experience in managing agencies, and well as negotiating and managing diverse stakeholder groups, internal and external relationships.
- High-level written communication and presentation skills
- A highly motivated and proactive person who uses initiative to solve problems and design innovative solutions
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail maintaining high standards of customer service and work within the organisation.
- Strong collaborative/inclusive approach to problem solving.
