About the Role:

As a Conference & Events Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless, high-quality events at the hotel. You'll manage end-to-end coordination of conferences, meetings, and social functions, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence. A proactive, client-focused mindset and strong event coordination experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Coordinate all aspects of events: planning, site inspections, event orders, invoicing, and post-event follow-up

•    Manage client and supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely payments

•    Host VIP arrivals, site visits, and pre-event meetings

•    Maintain records and forecasts using IVvy and Opera systems

•    Support internal events (e.g., Christmas Day, NYE) and drive repeat business

•    Collaborate with Sales, Banquets, and hotel teams to meet client expectations

•    Uphold hotel standards, policies, and WHS compliance

Skills & Experience:

•    Proven experience in event coordination (hotel or hospitality preferred)

•    Strong administrative, time management, and communication skills

•    Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IVvy & Opera

•    Sales, upselling, and negotiation capabilities

•    Professional grooming, confidentiality, and ability to work under pressure

•    Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and special events
