**About the Team**:
Supply Chain makes life easier, safer and more sustainable across our network. Our team works with thousands of trusted businesses every day to bring together our suppliers, distribution centres and stores. By keeping those relationships strong and processes running smoothly, we’re able to maintain the availability and quality of our products for our customers.

**About the Role**:
You’ll lead a team of Quality Inspectors (within Victoria and Tasmania) who check fresh produce, meat, dairy and seafood as it comes into the Laverton distribution centre (DC). You’ll effectively collaborate with other Quality Managers around the country to develop and compare continuous improvement initiatives that can be rolled out or amended for purpose.

You will also:

- Summarise and prioritise key supplier performance issues to the category teams to drive supplier performance improvements
- Work with the DC teams to ensure a safe and productive workplace for the team
- Continuously review and highlight opportunities for improvement - based on data from arrival and shelf-life assessments (trend analysis), as well as store feedback and audit results
- Collaborate with and influence category teams
- Utilise resources efficiently to deliver best quality outcomes for the business
- Effectively management and develop a team of 12+

**About you and your Skills**:

- Relevant industry experience in technical and quality roles, as well as proficiency working in a chilled environment
- Strong team management and leadership experience to drive engagement and build on talent
- A science qualification/background preferred, but not mandatory
- Knowledge of the Food Standards Code and exposure to working with multiple products across produce and fresh foods
- Cross functional influencing skills, ie working with product technologists, product developers and category managers
