The Early Learning Centre is an “Exceeding” service. It offers an inclusive play-based program, where children are able to learn through engaging, participating and exploring within a safe and nurturing environment.

**The Role**:
The school is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to lead the Kindergarten program, catering to children aged 3 to 5. As the Head of Early Learning you will have the unique opportunity to shape the foundation of learning and development for the youngest students in this school; setting the stage for a successful educational journey.

Please note this role includes a 0.4 FTE Teaching load.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Educational Vision: Craft a compelling educational vision for the Kindergarten program that aligns with the school's values and philosophy, fostering a love for learning and exploration.

Curriculum Design: Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators to design a play-based and inquiry-driven curriculum that sparks curiosity, creativity, and cognitive growth.

Program Excellence: Implement best practices in early childhood education, ensuring the program remains innovative, adaptable, and aligned with the latest research and trends.

Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational aspects of the Kindergarten program, including managing resources, budget allocation, recruitment, facilities maintenance, and compliance with relevant regulations

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of dedicated educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching approach.

Parent Partnership: Establish open and effective communication with parents and caregivers, creating a partnership that supports children's learning and development both at school and at home.

- **Ideally** 2 years’ experience as a leader in an ELC kindergarten setting
- **Must** have a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification
- Current VIT registration
- Comprehensive knowledge of the EYLF, NQS Frameworks and latest Child Safe Standards
